The hypothalamus and negative emotions

(how the brain affects reproduction)

The hypothalamus is a very important part of the brain, whose task is to manage many functions of the body, including reproduction. Being a structure of the central nervous system, it is affected by negative emotions, giving rise to a vicious circle that, if late conception further prolongs waiting times. Trying to reduce, or at least manage, negative emotions helps the hypothalamus to do its job better.
